32 Civilization Color Scheme v.1.2
by Nordicus (aka. Thomas Hempstock).

This file makes it possible for each civ (presuming you're playing with 32--yet it will work fine with less) to have a distinct color--many a war started with me cuz I confused one civ for another, so...this fixes that. New colors inputted--this changes the radar map colors as well (no way around that, as explained at the end of Colors00.txt and here, below). Takes a bit to get used to, and civs matching the color of terrain they're on will be hard to spot initially, but this solves many problems. So, the terrain in the radar map will now reflect the terrain on the actual playing map; this can be utilized for strategic purposes, I have found.

Created: Nov/99 (intended for use with Nordicus Giganticus 198 X 396 Earth Map--coming soon!), but can work without it of course. Civs 17 thru 31 become TERRAIN colors, overriding the actual
TERRAIN color settings below the player ones, so having different colors for these civs will result in the same terrain colors, i.e. if player 17 is bright red, then forest on the radar map will be bright red...player colors 32 to 38 are to prevent forest green sea trenches, etc., they are not
for civs past 32 (uh huh--dream on! :) ). Also, I'm not a colorologist, so the color names are estimates :p

Back up your color file in case it's too freaky for ya, and if it triggers an LSD flashback or something, I sympathize but will not accept responsibility for it, or for any damages....
Feel free to use this file as you see fit, or unfit ;) Thanks to Alan Beale, Slax, and Mike Connor (Purple) for their initial color alterations, on which this file is based.

Enjoy!

(This file goes in your ctp_data/default/gamedata folder--back up before overwriting.)

Later.
